Women’s History Month is a time to commemorate the greatest contributions and history of all women.
There are many women who inspire us and were trailblazers in STEM. Such as, Jewel Plummer Comb, a biologist and cancer researcher, brought all of her experience to studying the cure for melanoma. She encouraged women and ethnic minorities to enter the sciences. Her contributions to STEM provided opportunities to make science more diverse, equitable, and open to all women.

So, let us give thanks to the women in STEM who continue to do good in advancing the field. They have paved the way for young women, like me, and we need more women to continue the work in STEM. Happy Women’s Month to all!
